Un grande progetto

The Feature Competition Award goes to UN GRANDE PROGETTO by Giuseppe Longinotti (2017, Italy, 86') .

A proudly independent movie that reveals uncertainties and contradictions among low budget hardcore productions. A link between punk essence and tenderness, between working class porn and family feeling.

A true and proud film that shows a real ambition that can lead you to greatness, despite being grown outside the mainstream circuits but born from passion.

Special Mention goes to Vem Ska Knulla Pappa by Lasse Langstrom because of its explosive and sex positive imaginary and its playful and joyful sex vision.

The most relevant connotation of the movie is its theatrical, colored and excessive queer aesthetics, deply representative of Fish&Chips Film Festival's soul.

A small production capable of raise deep doubts. How dangerous can be transferring our sex fantasies into life? What happens if we lose control?

Special mention: Get the Life by Ozzy Villazón (2016, USA, 12')

A film able to show unexplored matters, going deeply into them, linking gender identities, sexuality and, most of all, parenthood, a very touchy topic for transgender persons.

A sensible and original direction able to reveal incarnations of intimacy and sexuality among young men avoiding gender stereotypes.

For its attention to the consent matter, focusing on the performers' experiencies and their points of view. Fluidly flying over straight and gay sexuality, switching roles but always respecting other people's preferencies and limits.
